Leo Kornfeld is currently the Managing Director for mscripts, where he is responsible for business development and client relationship management. Prior to joining mscripts, he held various corporate positions, including Senior Officer at Citibank, Senior Officer at Automatic Data Processing and President of Information Science, Inc. In addition, Leo was a Senior Partner for Cresap, McCormick and Paget, where he was responsible for their education and health practices.

Leo’s public sector experience includes serving as a Presidential Appointee for both the Carter and Clinton Administrations, and as the Senior Advisor to the United States’ Secretary of Education. In that capacity, he was responsible for the design and implementation of the National Direct Student Loan Program and for the design of the default reduction system. He was a career Naval Officer and received a BA in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and a BS and MS, both in Engineering, from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Leo also participated in special programs at Harvard Business School.
